I agree with Nana Visitor. I loved the idea of Mirror Kira being so much of a narcissist that she would literally fall in love with herself. The stuff with Ezri was silly.

I think most of the Trek movies are kind of terrible and barely resemble series Star Trek. And I haven't even seen Star Trek V or Nemesis. I kind of don't even really like First Contact. And after seeing Into Darkness, I am debating whether to see the next one.

I am also greatly enjoying his Trekabout podcast. Even through this kind of dreary section of TNG they are currently going through.

I honestly could not get any of my friends to see it with me because none of them will watch a movie starring Tom Cruise.

Also, not a lot of films to attract a large female audience. Especially ones who aren't interested in comic book films. Oh, but wait, women don't go to movies. Never mind.

When this album was reviewed here and the reviewer commented about how awful that song was, I commented that I would be willing to pay radio stations NOT to play it. It is months later and now I am considering a genuine fundraising effort to get radio stations to stop playing this shitty song.

Oh God. Usually it isn't nonsensical lyrics that truly irritate me. Instead, it is horrible syntax and bad grammar.

I really like that song. I even like the lyrics. I, too, thought the lyrics were intended to be funny.

You're wrong and you should feel bad about yourself.

Sounds like a girl who worked as a summer camp counselor.

Yes, I love that section of the song! Those are actually really good lyrics.

It should have. Oh, I spent too much time staring in bafflement at my radio/computer when that song would come on. WTF does that even mean?

I'm late to this, but thanks for posting this. I wanted to check out this pilot. Glad to know it is available.

I was impressed with how many clear "no" or "no, thank you" answers he got. I feel like if he tried this in the USA he would get a lot more, "Sorry, I have a boyfriend" or "I'm married" answers.

Definitely. I'm a classically trained singer. Can't tell you how often friends have been shocked that I won't perform at their functions for free. Look, if you are one my very, very close friends, sure I'll sing at your wedding. But, if you are a co-worker I've known for a couple years? No, I'm not singing for free

Oh my God. I shouldn't have clicked those links.

The Lion King grossed nearly $1 billion in 1994. I don't find it at all weird that there are a lot of comments about it.

Oh, the tv interruptions were insane. That is where I developed my intolerance for tv interruptions. And I can still vividly recall my mother's complaints about how her soaps were interrupted every other day.

Oh, it is weird. And it was weird when it happened. I didn't understand why this was dominating the news every single day. Looking back now it seems incredibly bizarre that my high school in rural Arizona interrupted class to play the verdict live. I mean, WTF?

CG was very primitive then and the CG dept at Disney was overworked and undermanned. They spent a lot more time on Little Mermaid and Aladdin, so the CG work looks a bit more seamless there. You can see the big jump in improvement from Little Mermaid to Aladdin.
