I got more and more obsessed as it went. It was a true addiction. Even when I wasn't loving the show in the final season I was still obsessed with it.

Movie 4 has my least favorite ending. It is so awfully cheerful. At one point Hermione remarks on how everything is going to change. And then they crack a bunch of jokes. https://www.youtube.com/wat…

Farewell, Todd! I will miss seeing your pieces here. You are an excellent critic. I love your passion for television. Even it is for things like 2 Broke Girls.

That is easily my least favorite part of S4. Ugh, we all knew that scene in the S3 finale was going nowhere. The show is not advanced enough in several stories to already send Asha off to rescue Theon. What a waste of time.

I would have loved Zombie Catelyn if she could have actually killed Walder Frey. But, GRRM doesn't seem to like letting characters seek direct revenge like that. Characters rarely seem to be killed by the people who feel most wronged by them.

I guess I am now feeling a bit better about the fates of [character] and [character]. At least in the near term. Hopefully that means one of them wasn't leading the other off to his death the last time we saw them.

It's the same thing that irritated me about a few of the Harry Potter movies. The sudden happy endings even after horrible stuff had happened. As with ASOIAF, the books weren't like that. But, when produced for the screen, somehow the writers/directors think we need a happy ending. It is weird.

I really enjoyed the parts where the monsters fought the robots. Truly, I thought those scenes were a ton of fun. I also liked Charlie Day in it. And I liked the flashback scene of Mako as a child. All I was expecting was a "monsters fight robots" movie, so I was pretty happy.

Sounds like a valid choice to me!

No, he's really leaving. The Leftovers review is his last review here. He's going over to Vox.

Oh, Todd. I'm going to miss you. These last two rounds have made this Tournament a good idea. Because it has been nuts. Thanks for giving me a good laugh!

I just can't get interested in a Lifetime movie version of this when this cult is still active and persecuting people. Warren Jeffs is essentially still running it from behind bars. And all the politicians in Utah and Arizona are such losers that they can't put a stop to it.

I've never heard of the Black Hole of Calcutta. Though, I am googling it right now.

Warren Jeffs is an asshole. Just a horrible excuse for a human. And I bet that Lifetime movie is going to go soft on him.

I think it is pretty close to $1 billion. I saw reports back around December that it was around $800 million. So, it's going to get there. Especially if a movie version comes out.

This is amazing. I want to commend you for sitting through this just to see some cinematography work. But…. I kind of just feel sorry for you.

LOL. I cannot wait to see this! This clue is strangely topical for me as I am working part time for a printer right now, and recently I have been tasked with building custom calendars. So, I've been doing a lot of work with calendar files and am now quite used to months being listed in alphabetical order in my files.

I'm also rooting for Ken Jennings. I think he is really funny.

Well, "Wicked" is not based on a movie. It is based on a book.

This is how I am watching now that I don't have tv. Although, I am spoiling myself by reading these posts every night. Oh well.
