Yes, Jay S mentioned the numbers in one of the "What's On Tonight?" posts.

Have you thought about contributing to the planning so as to maybe lower the "fuck" level?

Well, there is no slavery in Westeros. Although, whether the Freys or even the Lannisters actually paid everyone involved is probably up for debate. Actually, Walder Frey probably just made all his poor kids do all the work. So, maybe slavery is accurate there. Tyrion did have an entire scene of begging Olenna Tyrell

I have a tiny family. There is no way I would get remotely close to 100 people on my side. I'd be hard pressed to think of 10.

Well, that's not entirely accurate with the timing. The show really altered the entire battle at the Wall. Stannis still shows up at the wrong time in the show. If they were going to shorten the battle this way, and compress it all into one episode, then they should have structured it so that Stannis' arrival had more

Well then, Tecumseh, he better not have her kill _____ and ______. Because I will be really upset if those two are killed in a pointless story thread. At least Oberyn's death contributed to a major storyline.

I used to say that people should just watch the show if they were interested in the story, thinking it was showing them everything they needed.

I have a bit more problem there, because I'm not sure Tyrion has the emotional motivation to commit two murders without that. But, I haven't talked to too many newbies yet. So, maybe it works for them?

No, because it left episode 9 with this anticlimactic non-ending. And then when Stannis shows up in this episode it feels rushed and undercooked. It should have been a bigger moment. The season should have been structured differently with The Wall material, allowing more space for this. And, as everyone can now see,

I loved this episode. It was one of my favorites ever. I was definitely surprised at that omission from the book. But, I still thought the episode was amazing. I find I don't really care about that missing element. Other than a more academic curiosity about when/if it will happen in future episodes, and if not, what's

Balon is still alive but Pyp, Grenn, Irri, Jojen, etc are all dead. Balon Greyjoy is officially the luckiest character in the show.

I loved this episode. I thought it was wonderful nearly from top to bottom. I felt like we were finally seeing some plot progression after all the wheel spinning in the rest of the season.

Good luck! I've been trying to watch on HBO Go all season. I believe it allowed me to watch at 6pm for 5 of the 9 episodes.

Finally watched Wolf Blitzer on Celebrity Jeopardy, thanks to the comments here. Definitely worth it. Thanks!

If Lundqvist wants to win the Cup he should go play for a western conference team. And come on LA, even fans in Phoenix know to boo Gary Bettman.

But 3 Jeopardy contestants being that clueless? That is amazing. Did none of them ever take Contemporary US History? Or read any books about this? Or pay attention to the news about Iran at any point in the last 15 years? (Or see "Argo"?)

I can't believe that was a TS for Final Jeopardy. That seems like such an easy question. That was the year I was born and I knew the answer.

Even if he said he was an actor in a tv show that was shooting in town?

Thank you for that link!

If NBC could explain Schenkerian analysis * to the public* in 3 episodes I would consider it the greatest television achievement of this century.
