Happy Birthday!

"Also, I'm constantly amazed that we've lost "backup" or "Save State" technology in the 24th century."

It was extra funny to me because someone I know is just watching TNG for the first time, too. And she's in early season 2. Two weeks ago, after she saw episode 4 or 5 she wrote to me, "How long until I hit the good episodes? I'm not sure I can take much more of this." I wrote back a list with the episode #s and

I really don't understand why they didn't have her die in "Change of Heart". It would have been a million times more dramatically satisfying.

That's weird. As I said elsewhere, I never really engaged in any Trek discussion on the internet thanks to tech geeks who obsessed over tech stuff and didn't discuss story or characters. So, I guess I just missed this

And now he plays a police chief on Psych

The "Alto can't sing this song" video really annoys me. How young is that woman? The highest note in this piece is E-flat5! This should be no difficulty for any properly trained singer. The problem is that kids aren't properly taught! This is the American Idol effect. Freaking kids think G4 is a high note now!

It might actually be the best Disney movie since the Lion King*. The only other contender would be Lilo and Stitch.

I think "Let it Go" is a fantastic song.

I am actually rooting for "Let it Go" at the Oscars. It was so great in the context of the movie. It is now one of my favorite Disney musical sequences.

I hate the character design, especially in the faces. I also hate that the animators, when asked why the two sisters had the same face, said something like, "Well, it's really hard to animate women, what with all the emotions, and stuff". When he could have just said, "Because they're sisters" and not sounded like a

Aw, thanks Kenny. That's kind of sad. It was nice to have these recaps. You really got the appeal of the show and loved the characters like we all do.

Coyotes definitely don't play at the Oilers this week. That was last week. Coyotes pitifully lost to Buffalo last night and host the Pens on Saturday.

I always assumed that medical officers got the rank of ensign when they graduated the Academy like everyone else. Then, they went to Starfleet Medical for more advanced training. So, when they finished there they were promoted to Lt.

But that wouldn't mean she's the only one. I mean, counselors are only mentioned when the story needs them. So, if Ezri was there why would they talk about someone else on staff?

When in doubt, blame Rick Berman.

Yes, it is stupid. The whole concept of Vic is stupid. Sure, it is used to great effect in one later episode. But, was one good episode worth all this ridiculousness? Wouldn't have been too hard to get that one good episode without ever having known Vic before.

Mine, too! It's probably the line I most closely associate with Weyoun.

I, too, love that exchange between Damar and Weyoun. Ah, Jeffrey Combs was so good in this role.
