The documentary was so good, and already heavily dramatized. Making a dramatized film seems a bit superfluous. But, the story is compelling, so….. Maybe? Robert Zemeckis does have a history of making interesting films.

Aha! So THAT's why they got John Noble for this character. I was wondering why they seemed to be wasting his talents. Henry Parrish was an interesting character, but I didn't understand why they needed John Noble for such a mild character.
You are so going to LOVE John Noble on that show. I swear, that is one of the biggest Emmy crimes of all time that he was never nominated.
That is wonderful review.
But again, why would Sherlock not just do what he did? Why didn't the guy see THAT coming?

Well, but Sherlock actually tells Watson that Molly, Mycroft, their parents and about 25 of his homeless network knew. So, it does imply that there were a large number of people helping him, regardless of the actual explanation.
Bingo. In retrospect that is what is driving me crazy. Dude's so smart. He knows everything about everyone! He knows what everyone's pressure points are.
I actually like Moffat's episode better than this one. So, there's that.
