This show is claiming George Washington's true purpose was to hunt demons and prevent the apocalypse. Therefore I, too, am assuming this is an alternate universe. Although, it would be cool if our first president was also a demon hunter.

I laughed when they showed him drying his clothing with the hair dryer.

I did convince 4 other people to watch Sleepy Hollow.  Seems to be a hit amongst my friends who are fans of Buffy and Supernatural.

So, Person of Interest is now on at a time when I don't have too many conflicting shows.  It is now possible to squeeze it onto my DVR.  How confused will I be if I just jump in now?

The Bridge and Broadchurch being on at the same time AND not being over when Fall TV starts is a real pain.

Ugh, that was ridiculous when Southland, Parenthood and Justified were on at the same time.  I was recording one of those shows in the middle of the night just to get all of them.

Hmmm, I really liked both of her short story collections. But, I thought her previous novel, "The Namesake" was not as good.  Perhaps she is simply a better short story writer than a novelist.

No coincidence that they both won the series Emmy Award the same night this happened!

I hate replying just to say this, but I feel I must:  I miss it, too!

I actually groaned when reading that list.

Kate was the least interesting character on the show, easily.  But, Jack was probably a close second. Luckily there were dozens of fascinating characters on Lost, so this only became a huge problem in episodes which were about Jack or Kate.

I'm a little late, sorry. I finally watched the pilot of Sleepy Hollow last night. Oh, it is so damned entertaining. I couldn't believe how bonkers it was. I kept laughing either from delight or disbelief.  I've since convinced 4 other people to download it from iTunes and watch it.  (Thanks to those here who informed

I sympathize. I remember when the LOST props went on sale.  I would have loved to have Faraday's journal. But, it went for an exorbitant amount of money. There were much more expensive items which went for less than that journal.

I keep reading about Assange complaining about the movie. It almost makes it seem like it must be a good movie.  Or at least a compelling one. But, none of the reviews I've read seem to indicate that.

Me neither. I am somewhat hoping the discussion here for that episode will win me over to one side or the other.

I quite like Rom, and I love Grodenchik's performance. I think he did a great job differentiating Rom from all the other Ferengi and still portraying a realistic warm relationship with Quark.

You have to figure Dukat must care about Ziyal in some way that is genuine. Because otherwise the Dukat of S4-5 doesn't make much sense. He lost so much when he publicly accepted her as his daughter. He could have just killed her as he intended.

Wow, Zack. You actually made this Alexander plot sound not so bad.  I didn't watch this episode again to prepare for this. Perhaps I'll give it a try with these thoughts in mind.  Maybe it will seem like a better episode.

I don't think Garak is entirely joking there.  At least I hope not, because the line is a lot better if Garak is purposefully trying broadcast what a creep Dukat is.
