I agree, sort of, with your statements. Having been a truck owner for more years than I care to count, I will say that it is a great vehicle to have. Useful in so many ways. I do a fair amount of handy-man work and it is truly necessary for all the tools I need to take with me and I can offer to take the old toilet or

#5. PilotMan knows. Bonneville is one of the best spectator races anywhere. You can mingle with the competitors almost all the way to the starting line. Great camaraderie. Unique machines. Having been there twice, I love it.

Remember when people had paper map books in their cars? Does anyone still do that?

Yeah, you and me both. Amazing. Bet a whole lot of us never knew that.

Don’t forget that I said “symbolism”.

I think there is a symbolism in the elephant there. It’s what happens when a Funny Car or a Pro Stock car gets out of shape during a run. They often cross over into the other lane.

I-70 west from Denver to to Grand Junction. Lots of curves, both tight and high speed and huge elevation changes. Especially fun where it follows the Colorado River. Easy 100+ mph sweepers.

Jeez, Brian. It’s gonna take several days to do all this stuff. I have to work this weekend.

Remember, always take your helmet with you.

“I’ll believe it when I see it at a dealer in Albuquerque”.

I am glad you spoke to this nonsense. I have watched these commercials and shook my head many times. Thank you.

Curious, why is it a smoothbore?

Agree with your comment. One thing I have seen addressed is what about trucks? They will still share the same road and many are governed to certain speeds.

Thank you meteorologist Stef. You now may take your place with all the other weather people at the “Jeez, did I get that wrong” table. :)

Too busy watching the 6 hours at the Glen. Thanks. WEC and IMSA are my favorites. (This coming from a long time NASCAR lover. When I lived in Michigan, I never missed a race at Michigan for over 9 years).

You may be right. But it would be a sad thing to lose such an intense race. I just hope they don’t decide to go ‘Ring and try to curb speeds.

Don’t forget that there would be a cost in the form of tolls that you would still be paying. And even that does not guarantee great roads. Yeah, I’m looking at you, midwest. I don’t drive the east coast toll roads so I can’t speak to them.

Like the look. Love the name. Let’s hope it is more reliable than past products.

Now playing

Sad you did not include the entire album version. It was on their first album that brought them fame. It was also a time when Hashish was being introduced to people in the US. Good times were had by many. (I read that somewhere)

That is a Slurry Seal and very poorly applied. No bonder agent on the existng asphalt, etc.
