We all have our wants based on our needs. I have no need for fancy in a truck. You have definitely studied the available options and made your conclusion based on your wants and needs. Agree, that that combo is very good looking. And it is not "Fancy", just practical. Good choice. Question for you: I owned a Ranger

I would take that or the XL. Most of my use, in the west, is to do labor. It will get abused a bit. Do not need the extended cab/crew cab. The 8' bed/standard cab puts the load center so much closer to the front axle. After many years and many trucks, I know what works for me.

He sent me a pic of his Fierarri. Who would not want a car you built yourself.

Ok, expensive, but still doable, right? Not really. Cubans make about $20 a month. They'd need to work multiple lifetimes to just afford a Kia. Literally. Think about this, a Peugeot 508, a family sedan, is $262,000 in Cuba. A McLaren 650S is $265,000 in America. Please consider that for a minute.

If they wanted to increase it further, you do the same to the rear as the front. Taper. Also, cover the indents on the wheels. (A friend forwards these hyper-miler newletters to me).

3 things. 2 steering wheels in front and a low profile make for a great handling vehicle. As opposed to the conventional "tricycle" that does not handle well with its height difference. Many riders are not comfortable on a 2 wheeler but would like to ride. Third, The older buyer often wants ease, stability and cargo

Give thanks for spoilers.

Glad to help ya out if you need any.

They (Iraqi's) need that kind of stuff. We dump billions of dollars and thousands of American lives into a country that could not care less. Let's move on to Afghanistan and Pakistan, shall we. The big picture shows that Washington only thinks about the perceived outcome based on what some "yes man" general predicts

Snell rating? Doubt it. Too many "movie' parts.

Very nice story.

I will agree that C2 was the best of that time. (Coupe only, in my mind) There were later more powerful and arguably, better looking. But I have to agree with the basic argument.

No matter how rich... or not. We all have out favorite toys. It is always a shame to see one go up in flames

Stick to writing, Doug. You do that much better than drag racing. That was just... not good driving. :)

I was not sure if it was 69, 70 or 71. Thanks for the clarification.

Fascinating story. It is hard for most Americans to conceptualize what Eastern Europe was like from post WWII to the turn of the century. Your insight is first hand and I absorb it. I often read about the earlier parts of the Wall era. It is great to get the perspective of people who were there at the end of it.
