I'm new to the show, but I'm still managing to get into it.  And I usually don't like shows where the protagonist is a god-awful person, but there's something so ridiculous about McBride's performance that I can't help being amused by it.

That poor girl… by far the most cringe-y scene of the day.

So, so, so horrible…

Nah, the only reason Stevie claimed to be Shane's friend and then got in the car was that he hoped to get some sex in there.  You heard him saying "Get your pussy out!" right?  Didn't sound like a victim to me.

Loved it.  It may have helped that it followed a pretty middling Simpsons, but this episode entertained me from start to finish, and got lots of good laughs.  Great stuff from the kids, and Ollie and Andy (second coming of Walter and Perry).  The Bob and Linda story wasn't anything we haven't seen a hundred times…

My biggest laugh of the night:

Yup, never not funny.  Taff kind of reminded me of the art style from The Binding of Isaac, which made it just that much funnier that Louise was being all friendly and earnest with him/it.

Hey; sure, the movie's a couple years old, but it's not so old that you can't parody it anymore.  Memento might fit that bill, but I think Inception is still more-or-less current.

This show is so fucking formulaic.  Every single episode… things are okay, then things look grim, then things look like they might not be so bad after all, then some big ominous thing happens at the end, and Don Cheadle looks at the camera with that same worried expression every week.  And there's often a small, nice…

Totally agree with Todd about Haverkins.  I hate the couple on paper, but this episode demonstrated that the writers seem to know what they're doing with this arc.
