Yeah… I love those Community gag reels, but the rape bit kinda ruins that one. I do wish they hadn't included it.
Only if they're written by active duty Navy SEALs.
Suddenly kind of Terminator-ish, Fringe is. Great episode, though. Hell of a way to head into a monthlong break, without being too cliffhangery. Very glad to finally know what the deal is with the Observers, and especially cool to find out that September's encounter with Walternate was an accident.
Eh, I don't think so. If a writing team can turn product placement into a funny plotline or segment (anyone see Colbert's Wheat Thins bit last night?), I'm totally down with that.
This was a very good episode. I really loved Tracy's plot. "No one can hear you, Dotcom!" And of course Leap Day is gold.
He was throwin' rocks tonight!
This episode was, indeed, unexpectedly candied.
I can't speak to the point of Dave being "ruined," since I still haven't seen his earlier episodes, but I thought he was great in last week's episode — just the right amount of weird/awkward, to the point of endearment, and redemptive at the end.

Yeah, definitely. Kind of a bummer, as I prefer a more natural look (at least in the case of a woman like Aubrey Plaza, who's beautiful without much makeup). @DrunkenSuperman:disqus makes a good point; it might be intended to make her look a bit older. But I believe that such an intent would be misguided.
I loved the Andy-Chris-Champion plot. Loved drunk April ("Thank you, alcohol!"), but was bummed that she got stuck in the Tom-Ann plot, which I did not like, and which worried me that the writers actually want strengthen this couple to a point of viability. I hope that doesn't happen. The Leslie plot was so-so; Ron…
"I'm a secret agent."
"Ha! Yeah, and I'm… something… equally hard to believe!"
I don't see what you mean about McBrayer, Todd — I didn't think this character was anything like Kenneth. Didn't really even sound like him, I think. Sounded like McBrayer, but not Kenneth. Lacked that Kenneth inflection.
Well if you're an editor then why did your comment up there say "McBreyer" four times, as if that's not an incorrect spelling!? I'm calling shenanigans and revoking your Spock avatar.
And you can go to a bar and get drunk and hum that one drunkie song together! (Ethel's themesong, I guess?)
The dodging-cancellation equation is too complex to be understood by mortal man.
Contact lenses or GTFO.
I think the feyness was an important enough aspect of Jack that Max's lack of it makes them two significantly different characters. And I always found Jack (and Megan Mulally's character) to be WAY meaner than anyone is on Happy Endings. I think these characters are usually pretty cool to each other, and just tend…
Yeah, I've seen them bumpers more than once. Kinda defeats the purpose, I think, but maybe if you're wanting to have a special night of fun away from your kids, you feel like you might as well also rule-out gutterballs.
