This one didn't really work for me much at all, comedically speaking.  The Martin Luther King thing and the old racist lady were pretty hilarious, and Andy was good (not great), but there was very little comedy in the Leslie-Ben-Ann plot or the Tom-Jerry plot.  On the other hand, there was plenty of good character

Un woodpequero loco!

The smashy scene/Max admitting his bluff was probably my biggest laugh.

I agree, he's awesome.

That instantly reminded me of Dave's "I thought you loved double Penn" line from the Halloween episode.

Yeah, I think this show still has significant potential; it's just really all over the place so far.  Even within this one episode there seemed to be a lot of inconsistency, with the death-by-Sheila thing coming and going somewhat (specifically thinking of the scene when George sees Tessa in her dress, and never

Woman inherits the earth, somehow.

But that could've easily happened by now in some alternate reality…

Actually, it just occurred to me that we've actually got a network like this here in El Paso (and elsewhere, apparently), called Retro TV.  Kind of a mixed bag of programming, and there's nothing on it that interests me particularly, but yeah… it does exist.

I've just looked into it, and it was actually WE tv.

Ruh-rohhhh.

Yup, I think that's the only ep. that's been genuinely scary to me.  But iirc I found the first few episodes generally creepy.  That's just how I am with horror stuff; makes me feel uneasy until I get accustomed.

If even a couple potential viewers know that, then it will have been worth it to put his name in the description.

There is. There has to be!

Plus WWE Smackdown, for a while, for some unfathomable reason.

Brrrrrilliant idea!

No.  And fie on you for want of a question mark!

Yeah, I don't buy that argument at all.  And true, Scott and Ramona aren't really engaging as characters at all.  I was just so utterly won-over by everything else the film did, that I didn't really care at all whether the characters had substance or not.  Which is something that I normally do care about, mind you.

Well-put, although Skyrim isn't exactly "reality," is it?

Well, just as long as they're barren.  Don't want puppies having puppies, that's tragic.  Puppies having puppy-human hybrids, even more so.  Puppies having puppy-AV Club Commentator hybrids, that's a crime against nature.
