But if Myra was implanted with Jonas’s clone creation (Dean) ... didn’t that happen well after Jonas was dead? Jonas dies while Rusty was in college, Dean’s birth seems well after that.

Just finished watching season 4 (16 episodes I think) and while it has some major standouts it also has a few episodes that really struggle to find themselves. This show is written by 2 dudes, not like they have a large writing staff, and is all the better for it. 16 episode seasons is asking too much.

I’ll say this about the Comedy Cellar there are many spaces in the audience that it would be very difficult to walk out in the middle of a set it’s packed so tight in there.

The first half of season 1 of JJ, bits and pieces of Luke Cage and Daredevil have been ok. The chinese food scene in Defenders was watchable but in general these shows are static, ponderous and overly long.

Oh I agree. It has “keep it as naturalistic as possible” all over it. Just think that approach does more damage to a Thor film than it does say Captain America or Iron Man films.

Just sorta disappointing to wait that long for a Thor movie (I’m old) and they spend so much time in what could have been a setting and fight scene in any decent action film. I’m all for not criticizing films for what they are not and concentrating on what they actually are. In this instance when you are making a film…

Comics Malekith is sorta a wizard Joker set in the world of the Dark Crystal or something. He’s good fun and they should have had the guts to go there. That’s the problem with the first 2 Thor movies. The 1st is afraid to be a Thor movie and the 2nd is afraid to acknowledge the ridiculousness of it all.

As hopelessly mediocre as Thor 2 is at least he doesn’t spend an hour of the movie wrestling with non powered Shield agents in the mud. It tried (and failed) to be a Thor movie at least.

Which is sorta a plus in the CW DC world.
