Mr. Meeseeks!

Of course, vile characters can have a pretty long shelf life on this show (see: Lannister, Cersei).

Hmmmm. I was really anti-Stoneheart yesterday (both thinking it wouldn't happen and not wanting it to happen). But this is an interesting scenario. I would be totally on board with this.

I am guessing that Brienne is going to get a choice between killing Stannis and saving Sansa. Presumably she'll save Sansa, and then Stannis dies some other way.

I was thinking this exactly.

Fair enough. I yield.

Presumably bookSansa has some role to play in the way this all shakes out without having to become undead. Making her Lady Stoneheart would close off whatever Martin has planned for her. That's not to say it can't happen, but it seems like a long shot.

Melisandre learned that resurrection was possible by interacting with Thoros, and that's how they got their hands on Gendry.

She's a king's sister as much as Shireen was (RIP) a king's daughter. Maybe Stannis won't see it that way because Robb was a "false king," but he didn't seem to give a shit when it came to Mance.

Ha. Yup, Sansa is super cool with the rapes now. She seems very happy with her situation.

He knew, but he didn't want to believe it, I think.

Yeah, but if he doesn't stop the White Walkers, it literally does not matter whether he saves Sansa / Winterfell or not. Everybody's going to die anyway. I don't think it's his desire to follow his vows that would stop him from going to Winterfell. I think it's the ironclad logic that the world is fucked if the White

Wait, but didn't Davos say it was "20 men or so" or something like that?

Sit around and wait for Victarion Greyjoy to show up?

For some reason I don't see a resurrected Jon Snow giving a shit about Winterfell now that he's seen the White Walkers.

Not really defending it. Just don't really care.

It's Derp.

She's dead. The reason they didn't show her dying is the same reason they didn't show Sansa getting raped. Some things are just too horrible to show directly.

Well, they ignored geographic factors again this week by having Jon and the wildlings apparently land on the north side of the wall and then walk all the way to castle black ON THE SAME SIDE OF THE WALL AS THE WHITE WALKERS.

Didn't Melisandre interact with them and act surprised by the resurrection? There's that piece. But the showrunners could've just changed their mind, also.
