At this point, it seems like they REALLY want us to think that Olly is going to lead the shiv party. I hope it's a misdirection, because it feels like they're really telegraphing it.

Except for when it is.

Stannis: "Chosen"
Shrike: "What?"
Stannis: "Nothing."

I don't know. I mean, Shireen couldn't sit on the throne anyway since it only passes to male heirs. I know he says that at some point she will, but he has to know that's bullshit.

While the Shireen burning was… unfortunate, I don't feel like it was out of character for Stannis. In the books and the show, the tension always stems from the fact that he always does what he feels his duty is. Problems arise when his duty to his family gets in the way of his duty to the realm (as he sees it). But he

Aw man. That would suck. I really think the whole Lady Stoneheart thing sucks in the books, and I'm glad it's not in the show.

Yeah, he's either a goner or he's taking Ramsay's place as "Piece of shit #1" next season.

Ramsay v. Stannis - root for the meteor.

But why? He goes that route in the books to bring White Harbor into the fold, right (seriously, can't totally recall)?

Seriously, what the fuck is Davos going to do?

Agree with everything you said here, but particularly the geography of the Wall.

Yeah, she basically starts a war on false pretenses and never really laments that fact, even though she clearly knows that she might have been wrong about Tyrion being the one who sent the guy to kill Bran.

I think she does know Joffrey is dead though. Hasn't she removed his name from her list?

I don't think so. I guess it's possible that his whole backstory is a fabrication, but he's clearly talented from a medical perspective, so somebody trained him. I think he's probably who he says he is for the most part - he's just using Cersei to get what he wants - more bodies to experiment on.

I don't know when he'll die, but I agree that he probably will, and I guarantee it will be because Cersei does something stupid and prideful.

/turns around

I know! I totally oversold it. It's almost like I was trying to oversell it.

I just watched it again, you actually can see his face clearly for about 1 second. It's just some dude. I found it super distracting that he was sitting there at the end (prow? stern?) of the boat with his back to the most unbelievable shit anybody in Westeros has seen for at least 100 years.

You're right. Just watched it again. It's just some dude. Super weird that he wouldn't at least be looking over his shoulder while the whole resurrection was going on though.

I think it's probably nothing, but it was super conspicuous that the guy was just sitting there and you couldn't see his face AND he never turned around.
