I’m not scared of Pewdiepie, I appreciate what he represents and am fascinated by YouTube in general, which is why I report on it. That said, as much as I like some of his videos, couldn’t some of your criticisms of old-school media apply to him/YouTubers as well? “grabbing onto any story they can to stay relevant”

Of course Kotaku won’t admit it, and will be on the side of the media (for obvious reasons), but the media who attacked Pewdiepie are scared of him. They actually do want to bring him down because the media are scared YouTube is taking over. They’re slowly dying, and they’re grabbing onto any story they can just to

I’m kind of surprised this is getting so many good reviews. The trailers for the film didn’t make it look particularly promising, especially ones where they’re using some kind of flame thrower on the ISS.

Truth be told, I never saw it, but wasn’t one of the biggest, most well-received alien movies of last year, Arrival, literally about aliens and humans working together?

Why. Why does every alien movie in the past 10 years have to be about something that wants to kill humans? I really hope we never do find life outside our planet - our lack of imagination will be so disappointing, among other things.

Total agree about Captain America: Civil War. I saw it in the theater and liked it OK. I just watched it again last week and was amazed at how good it is. It’s not just a well made superhero film, it’s a great film period.

Pipelines burst. Trains also derail.

Don’t think this would appeal to a broad audience. Not to forget that you’d have to “upgrade” existing cards or get completely new ones. Then you’ll also have to carry the equipment with you etc.

Gizmodo exercises an iron fist of control to silence and ostracize any comment that doesn’t align with their message. It’s hard to tear apart something that’s barely got integrity in the first place.

If you’re spending any time on r/all... that’s the wrong way to reddit. I’ve whittled my front page down to subreddits like r/campingandhiking, r/personalfinance, r/nba, etc. It’s a useful tool if you curate it for yourself and I haven’t seen a single trace of r/the_donald all year.

so... like... the real world.

Jason. This review is phenomenal. One of the best things Kotaku has ever done. *slow clap*

One of the best reviews I’ve read on this site...bravo. Now I’m even more excited for tomorrow!

I’ll never play this game (not a FF fan, no PS4/XBone, etc), but this was as well-written of a review as I’ve seen on Kotaku in a long, long time. Well done, Jason.

At a certain point in reading this I stopped considering whether I’m putting down money and just got engrossed in a moving and emotionally vivid review. That was great.

You really going to demonize me because I liked neither Trump or Clinton and voted for the Libertarian ticket with the hope of expanding a two party system to add more alternatives? I understand you are demoralized with the results, but these sorts of tantrums and talking in absolutes that condemn people with

Wouldn’t people voting for Johnson take away from Trump’s votes? Why is it assumed that if these people hadn’t voted for Johnson, they would’ve voted for Hillary?

Fuck people who stayed home, wrote in Bernie, or left the President choice blank (My Father.) even more.
