Thank you for the link.

I can't imagine many people in the US know what it means, unfortunately.

Yeah. I am reading this and thinking what the hell are some people getting so offended about? I am a non believer and have said Happy Christmas, Eid Mubarak, Happy Hanukkah countless times and meant only genuine good wishes. If someone says them to me I am grateful and return it. As even though it is not my belief

I was having a pretty awful day and then this happened. Dogs, love them.

Surely everyone should be in a protected class? Male, female or trans, gay, straight black, white whatever. The law should apply to and protect everyone equally.

It is strange the rumours that get around. :)

Ha. I would but I would imagine my fiancé would have something to say about that. :)

Irish curse? I am Irish. Dublin raised and I am fine in that department. Is there a reputation or something in the US?

Agreed. A really enjoyable and underrated game. Hong Kong is an excellent setting for a game too.

As a Leinsterman, it was my patriotic duty to watch that game. You can keep your College football! :)

I am Irish-German, my wife-to-be is ethnically, Indian. We are keeping our own names, although any kids we have, will have awesome, double-barrelled, multi-continental, last names. Would I have a problem taking her last name? Not at all, I may do it in future. It's is disappointing so many men, of those surveyed, had

Interesting. Hopefully this will make these catcallers think twice about doing it in future too. As a man I would never do it and I always found the whole idea embarrassing.

A famine joke. You stay classy.

We used players that were considered not good enough to play for England. And with the English team taking all our good cricketers these days, I would say we're even.

No. It is because there are simply more good teams in Europe. The USA and Mexico always make it to the world cup, because they play Canada and El Salvador. My team Ireland, has to play Germany and Sweden, Russia and Italy as well as the likes of Belgium or Spain to even qualify.

I disagree. I do watch quite a lot of football from South America and the standard in European qualifying is just consistently higher across the boar in my opinion.

I am Irish. I live in Paris, I was in the crowd when Henry hand-balled it. While I do love France, I really hope the French national team go out, preferably to a handball and bad refereeing.

Yeah I understand entirely, some people just bring it out in us. Incidentally I lived and worked in Beijing for two years and completely fell in love with. I completely agree with you by the way. My fiance is Indian and in India skin whitening creams are everywhere. They don't want to be Caucasian, they just want

I don't mean this as a personal attack by the way. But I am Irish/German, brought up near the site of Newgrange and don't like to see an entire culture dismissed. Just like people who would dismiss China and it's incredible history.

I get what you mean and I don't want to seem like I disagree for the sake of it, but you are being far too harsh on non-classical Europe. There is too much of a generalisation in what you say. Northern Europe was in thrall to their Kings in the same way China was to it's Emperors. There was amazing culture outside
