+1  This comment has everything: cynicism, humor, fatigue, an excellent simile, Dan Cortes, and the expectation of annoying responses.

This is like saying “Mom and I have the same purse”, because you bought the same thing, just like those cheeks.

Such a handsome little chap. Thank you for being such a loving and  compassionate caretaker.

If I wasn’t at work, I’d upload a photo of my Sophie.  It never ceases to put a smile on my face when she assumes her classy lady folded paws position.

I don’t know how to resize in kinja, but this was my Scruffy late last year when he was first rescued. He’s got his summer shave now, and is curled up napping in a too-small bed he loves, right next to my desk.

What a leggy dame!

Fuzzles! I’m so glad he found you!

Yep; my old cat, Danny, insisted on laying on my arm at all times, but you couldn’t pet him past his head. And he wasn’t doing warning nips, either. Lot of trauma there.

Fellow Pom rescuer and my pup has a lot of the same problems. She gets nippy in very specific situations, which we are working on. It’s so sad to think about why she growls when someone approaches her bed, like someone was taking her bed away from her before :( These poor little pups don’t deserve the crap people do

That is some major posing!!    What a cutie pie!!

Ahhh, so adorable 🤩

My Very Good Lady was a rescue, half brindle pit bull, half German shepherd, and she was surrendered FOUR times in one year... because she was a hyper puppy, and large, and assholes didn’t understand that you DON’T leave a rescue by themselves the very same day that you bring them home, and don’t return drunk, after 4

What a handsome little fluffy butt! It’s wonderful that he got a second chance at life, and he is loved and safe.

My Buddy would snap at me occasionally the first six months or so after I adopted him. I don’t know a lot about the previous owners, but I do know when I got him from the rescue, who pulled him from Animal Care and Control where he was dumped, his coat had been so matted they had to cut it short, he had a cracked

Hang in there! The greatest gift my parents have given us daughters is sorting all this out while they are still here. Last year for their anniversary they bought headstones lol. I am infinitely grateful not to be involved (beyond the legal pieces assigned to me). Hope you have time to decompress and feel your feels.

I will say that dealing with this now, even may it be difficult and heavy, will be infinitely easier than dealing with it after the inevitable comes. I’m sorry if that sounds callous or harsh.

It’s a good thing to take care of that now. My husband died in his early 30s with no will (we thought that we had all the time in the world). I had to handle all of the administrative responsibilities, which was overwhelming, while grieving. My older sister arranged the funeral, so I was grateful for that. He did have

I wanna know what happened to Mitch Pileggi? Did the aliens finally get him?

Sir Patrick Stewart is the Sexiest Bald Man Emeritus. The trophy William got is a framed picture of Sir Patrick Stewart in a toga from the 70s. Not from a movie, just him hanging out in a toga on a random Thursday.
