Ug. Sorry for the birthday cold. That just kinda adds insult to injury. As for the Covid paranoia, I totally think it’s real. We all suffer allergies here BUT every little sneeze cough etc makes us go hmmmm is this allergies or something more. 

In my house/family we refer to this as “Faux-vid”. It happens ALL the time.

Every time I wake up in the middle of the night coughing (sinuses), or hot (menopause), I worry that I have COVID! I also have COVID dreams where I’m in a group of people and then it occurs to me we aren’t wearing masks and that everyone needs to step away from me.

So a 10 day quarantine creates an instant homebody yet I’ve been enjoying the little vignettes around my home (thank you teenage daughters) and sleeping like a baby. A competent government, finally, will do that.

When I hit the big 40 last year, I started really trying to loose the weight I gained with the tiny human. And I did. Mostly. Than the pandemic happened. I gained back 20+ pounds and added on 15 more. My birthday is now looming around the corner again and I feel terrible. So much so that I know I need to change that.…

At this point, the wise thing to do would be to move the inauguration indoors and live stream only. They need to restrict the event to family and friends of the new POTUS and VPOTUS. They may want to project a normal transition of power, but nothing about this is normal. There is a pandemic and officials are spooked…
