We’ve basically dumped a shitty, abusive boyfriend. And now he’s going to spend the next several months badmouthing us to everyone we know. Thank God. I’m nearly crying from relief. I anticipate Trump and a few cronies continuing the usual tactics while the rest of the sycophants slowly back away and try to figure out how to save their careers.

Thank god, but no thanks to you and some of the other writers here who repeatedly damned Biden with faint praise. Oh, and thank those of us who put aside our personal feelings when our candidate (Warren, in my case) lost in the primaries and enthusiastically got behind Biden.  

Jesus Christ the sense of relief. I mean, it has felt almost inevitable for two days now, but still the moment of euphoria when reading that headline. And while there’s a lot to be said about the polls, it does seem like the Biden campaign were strategically smart by keeping the focus on those key Blue Wall states…

Imagine. Joe is President. A year from now, we’re all vaccinated for Covid. Kids are back in school. Job numbers are up (for real this time). it’s in my playbook of “how to get out of doing stuff” that the first is doing something so incompetently the first time, will exempt you from any future requests to doing said thing ever again. :)

Whenever Obama spoke up in the last year I just stopped and could not believe the contrast, Trump is such a moron.
