Happy Halloween! Low key celebrations here. No trick or treating or group kids party like we normally do. Instead we had a very small family costume party at my parents. The tiny human was over the moon to see them & her cousins. So much better IMO as I worry when we’ll be able too see everyone again. Photos tonight…
Good things have happened this week. I went to a virtual Halloween wedding(Hooray for love!), I finally made a good yeasted loaf of bread(Thanks, Paul Hollywood!), and I decided to start taking something for my depression(Here we go again, wheee).
It looks like someone took a sharpie to his face while he was asleep.
I’d rather have a bitch in the White House than a rapist, racist, bigoted pervert.
Read a post on Reddit last night from a waitress in Brooklyn talking about Paul Rudd coming into her restaurant yesterday afternoon. She said he was genuinely nice and friendly and after lunch he took a cute socially distanced pic with her and left a $100 dollar tip on a $100 check.

I’m so glad to hear about your aunt.
Aw, thanks, Duck. :)
Great news!
Hooray for your aunt!
Mmmm, gnocchi!
That looks so good! I’ve never tried a tagine but I learned how to make shakshouka earlier this year, and it’s now in regulat dinner rotation. I love dinners that you can prep and then let them cook with minimal supervision.
It’s the coziest. I’m so warm, and it hasn’t gotten out of the 40s today after getting into the 70s yesterday, so it was the perfect day to get it.
The blanket looks very cozy.
The kid and I made pumpkin chocolate chip cookies today, her personal favorite. We have leftover canned pumpkin so she searched for recipes and found one for a pumpkin pie smoothie. I am mildly disgusted by it but I have not shared that. She and my husband are convinced it will be great. Luckily there’s only enough…
My mom's birthday is coming up next month, and she's reached the point in life where she truly doesn't need a thing, so I was thinking of making a big batch of soup and freezing it in individual portions, since she hates cooking.
That’s good to hear about your aunt.
