It happened last week at work. My hometown’s drivers are notorious for being just gawd-awful, and in the downtown area it’s even worse.

Campaign slogan suggestion: “I got mine, so fuck you.”

You mean you’re DTMF.

I mean, between the mutton chops and the mullet, what non-self-respecting woman wouldn’t drop her panties?

Make sure you increase your iron intake!

I mean, what the hell else were the men doing all day? (This is why Mom is putting off retiring - she gets bored easily.)

Never a bad time to watch otters.

On the one hand, yes, there is irritation that looking into the side effects (which are still better than getting Covid) didn’t consider specific issues of women/people who menstruate. And it’s not uncommon. And this hacks me off.

Or as my kid puts it, “if pink is female and blue is male, I’m green.  Or purple, sometimes.”

There’s no history of breast cancer in my family, yet I’ve been getting mammograms since I hit my forties, because my ob/gyn (who is also on a state council regarding avoiding malpractice accusations) won’t have bad statistics in his file. And if I were to be the first woman in my family to have breast cancer, that

“Please” is one of the nicest words in the English language.

And in her home land, her name is Diana, and she’s a Princess.

Well hell. As if my dense breast tissue wasn’t enough of an issue during my mammogram...

Earlier this week, I misplaced my car’s key fob and cried about it.

I’d like to see those cowards try that shit on a cat.

It would!  Duckling and I are planning a June trip, but would have to reconsider if this law went through.  (Personally I think ES needs to secede from the state and make themselves a teensey little progressive micronation.)

I mean, there’s a town in Arkansas I like to vacation in, because it’s a diverse place and has Victorian roots and good restaurants...

The tech-heavy one is “The Woman in Black”. The director (young enough to be my kid, and has indeed adopted me as a Bonus Mom) has a very good vision about what he wants with lighting, atmosphere, etc.

I think it’s just Clue the Play - I don’t know all the details yet, except it will be for the dinner theater fundraiser (that I’ve been a part of for the past two years).

I had lunch with the directors and fellow crew people of a play that’s coming up in October (it’s gonna be super tech-intense, and the director is enthusiastic about his vision, so we’re getting a jump on it).
