My books are in order - one shelf for my sci-fi/fantasy, one for my young adult lit, etc... It may only make sense to me, but that’s the person who matters.

To quote Dorothy Parker:
I am on vacation this coming week. There was a trip to the Ozarks planned, but that fell through due to *gestures broadly*, so I’mma find things to do in town, like brunch at a brewery and independent shops. A week without nothing more pressing than play rehearsal will be good for me.
Not mine, but my mom’s, and it involves a hard-assed cop, so it’s timely.

One of my co-workers tested positive (asymptomatic). Another has symptoms, and won’t be back until her test comes back negative (or she’s been properly quarantined). And one of the techs for the current local production of Little Shop of Horrors tested positive and that canceled tonight’s show (last run, but still)).
I found real comfort in Anne of Green Gables recently.
I reread the Little House series this spring and skipped a couple of books because I wasn’t in the mood for Ma’s hatred for Indians. It narrowed it down to Laura’s teen years, but The Long Winter helped with the whole “stay at home for the sake of your life” mentality.
I need to go punch something.
The hats!
I do love a floofy ginger.
Kiddo is headed on a road trip tomorrow to visit their out-of-state girlfriend.
Wynn’s adoption for the...er...Win!
I misspoke - it was his favorite fishing hole. Dad was an outdoorsman.
I’ve been up Mom’s backside to get the shingles shot. I’ll remind her again during flu shot season.
I am trying to find joy as well.
Yay Wynn! Looking so much better.
A story to share about (step)Dad:
