This week at rehearsal (Twelfth Night), one of the assistant directors strongly suggested I audition for the next upcoming play. It sounds like she thinks there is a part I’d be great for.

What a week. And I don’t mean that in a good way.

Long story short, I had a stepdad for the more formative years of my life.

Why, without his statue to teach them history, they’re going to forget who they are!

I know a bunch of conservatives are flap-jacking their gums about this.  Better butter them up with some good press, or the press will get griddled.

She’s my mother’s age. Mom is looking forward to retirement and isn’t in the greatest of health, but she’s by no means “old”.

At least he was open and honest with his diagnosis. Who knows how many people I’ve helped that have had a nasty cough lately...

Nearly had somebody with Covid show up at work yesterday. (Not an “I’mma be Typhoid Harry” situation, but a “I need to do this and the app’s not working” situation. Gentleman in question is actually very polite. Other than, you know, having no common sense.)

I finally bought a TENS unit this week - between two bad knees, one temperamental shoulder (yay roller derby injuries), and a kink in my neck that I’ve had for a month (yay anxiety), I knew I’d get my money’s worth. I can’t wait for today’s kids to Take Over Things. Even before things got rough, I’ve been impressed by “youngsters” with their open-mindedness and ability to use social media for the forces of good.

Especially Willam.

I might change my mind between now and Sunday.
