It’s totally his fault.

That screenshot is EVERYTHING.

When people wonder why no one reports on men like Nassar, it’s because men like Strampel get to watch the videos of assaults. Abuse in institutions is institutionalized.

He’s incredibly gross.

Except you should then focus your harsh policies on the possible rapist, not his potential rapee

Cheerleaders are often amazing athletes and acrobats in their own right.

Nah, it’s not the Cuban flag or her “revolutionary aesthetic” that bothers & scares you, it’s what she represents: young, strong, intelligent, no compromise, in-your-freaking-face revolutionary woman of color. She is white conservative & reactionary America’s worst nightmare.

Yeah, look at this commie flying Castro’s flag

Why is that more jarring than Iowa rep Steve King displaying a confederate flag on his desk especially considering many Iowan soldiers died in confederate prison camps?

She’s Cuban American. That pin/badge could just as easily be a proclamation of her heritage.

You say this only a few days after St. Patrick’s day, but... sure.

Guys, you can learn and get certified for CPR in like an afternoon. Theres plenty of time after that to , I dunno, push for common sense gun laws.

Attn: Normal People,

Well my local march had volunteers with postcards to send to House Reps and an app to look them up, as well as voter registration volunteers, so there was a lot going on besides just the march. Also, there were a LOT of kids present. An angry crowd is scary AF when you’re waist high. 100s of 1000s of people don’t go

I am here in the US, marching in a small college town, and it was filled with passion, determination, and action. We registered voters, heard from candidates and kids, and recruited for local and national action groups. Yes there was humor and joy, but the two are not mutually exclusive. Take your disdain and examine

I am in my 60s. I remember a time when young people could and did effect change. We worked really hard for peace, civil rights and reproductive rights. But at some point, life, jobs and family got in the way and we barely noticed the gradual backsliding. When liberal boomers became complacent, we allowed

I would think the vibe would be very different in Europe, than here, for obvious reasons. I watched the whole dc rally and it was extremely emotional, angry, deep, powerful. I don’t get why people feel the need to shit all over something for no reason. I get that it’s cool to be cynical, but sometimes it’s not

If you are a Millennial, this is a truly punchable moment. And if you’re an Xer like me, then shame on you. (Edit: punchable.) You have no right at this moment to indulge in this “ugh whatever”. Your little cousins are coming barreling out of the chute and doing the work. They are serious as every heart attack in a

I’m glad that we Americans are finally taking our issues to the streets, but it all just seemed so... hippy dippy? Fun? Not serious? I don’t know how to describe it, but there was no anger or action.
