You’re being purposefully thick headed and actively ignoring the good sense of prioritizing safety and violent crime over non-violent crime. It’s allocation of resources and practicality of maintaining the health and safety of a city over this nebulous, “WeLl iTs a CrImE” ninny logic.

It does not improve the health of a city to have a subset of people “driven underground” where rapes, murders, assault, drugs are not reported.

Nah, that’s wrong though. My description is literally what they are. You can be arrested by ICE in a sanctuary city but you can also go to the police and they won’t ask if you’re a citizen or not while you make a police report. Sanctuary cities are supported y local police because it helps them do their jobs.

The purpose of sanctuary cities is to aid law enforcement in stopping violent crime. I.e. prioritizing violent crime over immigration. It’s a good policy that allows people here illegally to report crimes rather than having a subset community that’s too afraid to go to the police to report murders, rapists, etc.

This is all so dumb. Facebook memes and the comment section of Fox nNews has become actual policy. 

They were also ethno-nationalists like this administration. Don’t worry the wall will work in both directions if need be.
