I didn’t read any Schneider quotes saying she was assaulted, the quotes I read said she was upset about the changes to the script that were made last minute that she did not want to go through with. They totally took advantage of her and obviously could not care less about her as a person. They are awful, period. I’ve

Sorry, I thought you were saying she was sexually assaulted. I might have responded to the wrong comment. All the headlines (here and elsewhere) made it sound to me that Schneider was raped, and lots of other folks seemed to also have that takeaway. Miko’s statement is that Brando wouldn’t have sexually violated her,

Yeah, the “I threw them out” hashtag makes me incredibly uncomfortable in light of his previous domestic assault allegations.

I don’t think that marrying the young, hot thing is creepy, but posting a picture of your spouse to brag about the fact that she’s a young, hot thing is a bit on the gross side.

#rosepettles = #rosepetals = “rose petals” = euphamism for pussy

Or Minnie Driver.

Is it just me, or does knowing he spells it that way make it seem...ew?

Unless I missed something, the film did not capture real life assault. I thought the director admitted they sprung the scene on her but the actress was not sexually violated. What they did was awful, to be sure. They treated her like a pawn and with zero dignity or respect.

You didn’t learn about the thigh gap formula in high school geometry?

Until I read the part saying her name was Kathryn, I assumed her name was Rose Pettles because my brain couldn’t comprehend what that meant haha. My god.

The Kathryn Boyd and Josh Brolin things is so weird. I knew her older sister in high school. So, so weird.

Divorce sucks Brad, you’ll pull through.

Josh Brolin, you did not deserve Diane Lane.

Probably not, but that’s neither here nor there because Rich did the previous post I was remarking on.

Never thought Mariah Carey would look like Aubrey Plaza.

No. Trump’s election does not “bring our democracy to the breaking point”. Allowing Trump to violate the law and the constitution while in office brings our democracy to the breaking point, and it’s a lot harder to hold him accountable if the previous President has just violated a 200-year old constitutional precedent

He won’t do it. He won’t do it because if he does it today, President Trump will do it the next time a justice retires and one more check against the unfettered power of the Presidency will be gone. Obama’s a scholar in Constitutional law, he knows how important these precedents are.

Thank God this is on the docket and being heard before whatever batshit-crazy-flag-humping troglodyte former Goldman Sachs ass-monkey Trump appoints is seated on the court.

That episode was infuriating. And the dude is all, ‘it’s not my fault she lost’, which yes, is true, but you sure didn’t help. I firmly believe Clinton’s campaign died by a thousand cuts, and this guy was sure wielding a knife. We’ll never know if it was the killing strike.

The Planet Money podcast just did an episode in which they tracked down one of the guys who writes those fake news stories, including the one about the supposed Clinton email investigator’s suicide. He said that he originally also posted stories designed to appeal to liberals, but the articles would almost immediately
