That’s a tough question. I was forced to grow up when I became a parent. I wasn’t going to be to my kids what my parents were to me. Everything had to change.

Thank you for this! What hurts more than an IUD insertion is an abortion. What is worse is childbirth. I would say the process is uncomfortable but not unbearable, and I’m on my second one (copper) after two childbirths and some much earlier (pre-morning-after pill) abortions.
