He got a parade and lived a long happy life. Almost certain.

As a former video store clerk, I hereby challenge this site to a John Henry-style fight to the death.

Right?

All right, she checks out.

I'm sure she's a very nice person.

I can think of no greater compliment.

Don't talk about my comedic alley.

I was even more surprised with Gethard. Commitment.

You nailed it. All of the above.

Hiyo!

Sadly, being a childless type, I don't watch things noticing the appropriateness angle. However, it's in keeping with last season, although the Punisher amps up the bloodshed (and torture scenes) and Elektra brings more sex (albeit of the non-full-frontal variety.)

From what I saw, they crank the violence up a bit over last season. Some pretty graphic torture stuff.

Well, I only got to see seven episodes, so…

Honestly, the grade is the last thing I do, and gets way too much attention. (Sometimes it seems like a lot of people who get angry about a review stopped reading at the grade and are mainly commenting on that.)
As ever, my snotty advice is, "I wrote literally thousands of other letters about this thing. Read 'em all."

They do a… thing.

Thaaaats right… you did.

But fair.

Thanks. That's very kind.
I'd go B-minus on season one. Agreeing with Noel Murray: http://www.avclub.com/revie…
And, of course, I only got to see the first seven episodes here.

No spoilers, but yes, a li'l bit.

I don't look at "unlikeable" as an insult—I admire the willingness of these comics to follow their inspiration wherever it leads them, even if it's somewhere unpleasant. Again, as necessarily uneven as this series is, I'm grateful for the showcase it provides to unique voices like these.
