As a Series X owner, I can say that, at the moment, the benefits to the new console gen are exclusively QoL stuff. But the QoL benefits are great. I upgraded to a fancy 4K 120hz/VRR TV out of necessity last year, and...yeah, the steady framerate in super high-res HDR is nice and all, but quick resume/significantly

Don’t pay scalper prices! But...

I strongly suspect that Astro was supposed to be a LBP game and got reskinned at some late hour. It has a lot of tech demo stuff in it, but it’s still legitimately fun in it’s own right.

This. I was halfway through Sekiro when I got my PS5 at launch, and finishing that game at 60fps was really nice. Then I went right into Ghost of Tsushima, which runs at 4K/60, and that really sang on my OLED tv. Then Control hit PS+ and I finally got to enjoy that. Now The Last of Us 2, another game in my backlog,

Co-sign. Got one on launch day because I really wanted to play Demon’s Souls. Since then, the biggest benefit to me is that it doesn’t make the same jet engine sounds as my launch-model PS4.

Agree.  I got a PS5 at launch and bought zero PS5 specific game.

I also am quite glad to have one, but agree that it is by no means a “must-have” item at this point. I’m still mostly using it to catch up on PS4 games!

I don’t want to add to your pain, but I just got my PS5 (through direct) and the Quality of Life Benefits really cannot be understated. I’ve tried a few different PS4 games in my backlog and the difference in loading is wild. On PS4 I would sip my coffee and send a couple texts between loading screens, no time for

I completely agree. I got lucky one morning when I checked walmart and saw I could buy disc version with 2 controllers. But like there’s nothing I really need the PS5 to play. I guess there’s the extra PS+ games which, for the love of God, add to your library even if you don't have a PS5 yet.

While I’m glad I got (and have) a PS5, I generally agree with this. There’s nothing that is an absolute must have on the system yet, though as someone who never upgraded to a PS4 Pro, it’s been nice to have something that performs better.

Pretty sure if this were on CraigsList, it would easily grab (and keep) the title:

It is absolutely horrible, like if a F-6 got a boob job.

I’m not sure the Dakota bears the most blame there.

Yeah, that’s definitely ugly.

I find nothing about this ugly at all. Pink is not to my taste, but it’s not a bad pink, and the overall shape is as classic as it gets.

Yeah I did but I’m also just someone who naturally likes to build things. My wife says I’m happiest when I have a project. So a huge lego set or complicated model kit(I’m partial to Gunpla) is my zen.

Not really. Just normal LEGO prices. The stuff ain’t cheap

I’ve bought more LEGO in my 40s than ever before.

Really want a good model of a Piranha Plant for my collection. As much as these interactive sets look awesome, I’d love to have some more traditional sets.

And then around 35 you still have zero use for Lego, but you start buying the stuff anyway!
