The only way? It couldn't fast charge if both ends were USB-C?

Honestly, while I think the whole thing is overblown, 2-factor should have been opt-out instead of opt-in when they added the feature. If Ring had done that one thing then Giz would pretty clearly be flapping their arms on the password front (they already are on the police front: who owns a security camera but thinks

I have seen this a bunch, and it deserves a cogent response. One of the reasons I keep coming back to Amazon is because they do a large part of their shipping in boxes (not plastic bags) taped with a paper tape instead of a plastic tape, you can easily downgrade your shipping speed to be a bit more earth earth

To be fair, Amazon does put out decoy boxes with tracking. I don't know how that's bad, or if it is, how it's worse than the police just doing that themselves like they have on cars of certain high theft rate types for... well it's been a decade since I saw that first video if police doing just that.

Ace is quite local. It’s franchise owned, so the actual owner probably lives near you, and most of the decisions are their call more than the main office. I haven’t seen a local store that wasn’t an Ace or TrueValue for a LONG time, but that doesn't mean any two of those stores are more alike than any two hardware

Just because Google openly doesn't like it doesn't make it anti-Google. Just like not liking some law doesn't make you anti-government.

The message did not disparage Google though. It simply pointed to legal material and stated a legal fact.

Not down to that level of detail... not without violating the laws around organizing.

I’m a little sad that wolf doesn’t have a floating shield and a very small artist with it...

This. This is why the F 150 EV will get customers when the batmobile B2 will get laughs. That's if Ford puts a decent battery and not one that has to get "retested" after the EPA rating.

Having recently installed my first m.2 after years of building my own systems (so not a lot of building, but with a fairly regular frequently) and working on assorted other electronics... that's a form factor that could use some improvement. That darn screw nearly didn't come out, and then I had to actually lay my

So, are you typing this response at a library? This is a standard tech response. One supposed you have given some tech company who cares exactly this much about security your money.

Yeah, they should have just said "this is why we have TFA available"

Nah, we’re just trying to square a supposedly pretty secure password with the seeming brute force hack

It's also possible that one of the boyfriend's colleagues decided to have a laugh after finding the boyfriend's phone unlocked.

I had this thought too. But then, on the other hand, it’s possible a cracker managed to get lucky. If you run cracking script on enough accounts, even if they have strong passwords, there is a good chance of getting lucky on a few accounts. Given the probability that these people are young (like high school age) men

I could see a no frills Geo metro being good for teaching a kid how to drive. They can keep their paws off my* truck though.

While I think hydrogen is problematic and in general silly for most EV applications, towing or heavy load transport is a place it would really shine.

Alas poor Wink, I used it Horatio.

Discourse is cool and all, but some of us have stuff to do and just want to know whether we should fit something in. If critics aren't engaging this audience, I don't know who is.
