I'm definitely going to loose sleep over it too.

Are you sure that wasn't Chase? They aren't always solid on cancelling things either.

We bought a Pilot in 2016 and they were by far more pleasant and true to their word than the other three Honda dealerships we walked out of after they didn’t have the car they told us they had. After an hour. Waiting with kids. Suburban dealerships in MA blow chunks.

If by “iconic” you mean “wouldn’t poke it with a stick”, yeah. My dad did automechanic work in the 70's and he would probably be more disappointed in me than if I took up smoking or dropped out of school. Something about having to take the whole front panel apart to change a fuse.

That doesn’t change the fact that Ford is 1) now years behind other good EV entries and 2) aperently backing out on their own promise to have electric vehicles out by the end of this year. When I talked to some Ford R&D guys a few years ago, "electric" was not in their vocabulary even for self driving, so I'm just not

2023 there will probably be used model 3's on the market. There are some other good cars out now, like the Kia, that offer a different look at a price that's not a small house in a poor area.

Well, guess who’s buying cars? But sure, Ford should clearly ignore their biggest potential market just because they are so short sighted that they... want to keep the planet a safe place for human civilization and stop paying for the major financial drain of gasoline and realize delaying that is money lost that could

Also, the LEAF iterated. A 2013 LEAF may be a little sad (though a pretty good buy if you get one used), but a 2019 LEAF is a totally decent car. Improving a design is the mark of actually caring.

“I work at a... dealership”

This partnership looks like a pretty clear sign that things aren’t going swimmingly with Rivan and Ford is trying to hedge its bets while still not really commiting to EV's. At best that means they aren't good to their word and at worst it means they missed the boat.

I think all y'all are underestimating the ability of people to be weird and/or stupid. I mean, I remember stupider stuff than this from high school, and we didn't have the whole internet to help us.

Um, suits on what grounds? You buy a stupid thing, get that stupid thing, then... ?

Watch the Zach Galifianakis “my next guest needs no introduction” episode and realise his sister was totally okay with him giving her daughter Beiber underwear. While it isn't exactly bath water, I think it's close enough to answer the question.

Aka, "yes".

Do it. I mean, if you are willing to put in the work...

Ahahahaha. Yup. We paid kotaku for this nonsense with our clicks. Who's laughing now?

Um. The internet is a strange place. I am not saying that you should, but I sure would not bet against "could".

Because "the internet".

Clearly. It's closer to 2/3 I think. ;)

Boy it’s grat that current technology has definitely always existed and applies to anyone’s story of anything ever. Also, if they didn’t look it up themselves, they didn’t want to know badly enough to find out, and you inserting yourself* to tell them says more about you than about their ignorance.
