What the F. I am to a point of almost going to defeat Gannon (all four divine beasts, master sword, over 100 soul orbs) and THIS IS THE FIRST I HAVE HEARD OF HESTU!

I think that Microsoft, when they started getting into VR and realized how good Steam has been for them, realized that "collaboration" was the way to have their fingers in a lot of pies but not be on the hook for anti-trust litigation. They also are finally enjoying not being the biggest target for "big tech enemy of

Nah, this is sure to get blocked.

She's getting replaced by Google.

That’s a big “if” though. A reasonable VR PC is probably 1-2 grand, a top end one 3-7 grand. That’s a lot to add on to the cost of the headset. Or you can jump in for $400 plus the cost of a few games, taking it from the cost of a sports car rig to the price of a compact commuter consul. That makes "trying VR" a lot

Unless you get the wireless communication pack for the HTC Vive. I mean, you still are sort of tethered, but not by a wire.

On the one hand, great point, here’s your star. On the other hand, how much do any of us actually play arcade games? If VR “dies” the same way arcade games kinda did, it would still be kinda sad.

I’m not a Tesla fanboy or an Oculus fanboy for that matter, but yeah, I see a lot of VR is dead and EV’s are dead comments that seem to run pretty counter to the evidence. New tech like these have problems and aren’t for everyone (my VR system sees a lot less use than my Switch because of what the kids can play) but a

I dunno. So few people play Hearthstone (pretty well documented failure) that this isn’t going to his a wide audience, and also it just wasn’t funny. Super complicated for less of a punchline than Nerf Now.

Then, um, don't read them?

It's "Risk" for me. I can loose 7/8 games of Hearts and still have fun, but even if I am doing okay at Risk, I am probably just barely not punching someone in the face.

My mom is the sort of person who happily let a garden spider hang out in our bathroom window for over two months, but she once unfolded a blanket with a wolf spider in it and she was out. She let that thing find it’s own way out of the door she left open behind her the way she tells its.

I think there's a touch of comment on how you can do funny stuff when there's no "friendly fire" like bring down a hammer on someone's head and have it destroy the mat they are on but not hurt them, which is an amusing feature of other games too.

Having just “finished” the switch demo...

And in real life too. Trying to parallel park that rental the first time...

Pay what? Hah. I think you missed a zero. Or three.

If y'all make it to Seattle, be sure to make a stop at The Living Computer Museum.

The first serious thing I saved up for was a four color CGA monitor. Cost $400 and took me multiple years to save for, but it was SO AWESOME. Okay, it didn’t beat the Amiga down the street, but I still though it was all that.

What's the opposite of missing something? That's how I feel about the Gateway 2000. ;)

You should check out the LTT sleeper build that they do in a similar setup.
