Usually the first half of the competition has more obscure songs. And I think they pick them so as to make sure no one has a clear advantage over a song they may perform in their acts.

That's my guess as well. Though there is always the chance we'll get another Seduction song towards the end.

Well, then she should have won the second challenge, right? And she sure didn't, though that was probably her strongest overall week to date.

To be fair to Kandy, she did win that lip sync just based on accuracy, which I know Ru takes into account. MKD's synch got real messy about halfway through. I think Ru was actually trying to ditch Kandy, but, as Ru expressly told her not to, MKD "fucked it up."

There are still too many girls. I think, after next week, it should run more smoothly. There just isn't time to fit that in with so many contestants. That said, if they made the episodes longer to compensate, I wouldn't complain.

If you are entertaining and somewhat resemble a pretty woman, I could give a rat's ass. I'd take Ginger over bland-ass Kandy Ho, Miss Fame, Pearl on most days, etc.

I did have a problem with that comment as well. Besides, that was the least of some of these girls' problems. Some of their material just flat out stunk.

I actually believe that, for the scripted challenges, they are purposely given the worst possible material to see who best polish the hell out of a turd and make it resemble a diamond. Besides, I kind of find it entertaining to see who can bomb the worst.
