Spiders is a small indie company and they don’t make AAA games. So I feel that comparing this to a Witcher or a Dragon Age game is kind of putting it at an disadvantage. The Technomancer was their most recent game, and it released to average reviews. Bear in mind, I liked The Technomancer, and I’m buying this game

Fortunately, the base game is free, and the characters I feel are reasonably priced, especially if you play the game often. So I don’t feel too hard done by. I would just like to give them more money.

So. Like. Let’s be real. Online harassment isn’t okay. That’s a fact. Name calling isn’t okay either. Calling a woman a slut because she wears low cut tops is just dumb.

Yenn is what is known as a “source,” someone with natural-born capacity to wield magic, a rarity among humans. Eventually, she can harness this ability to completely alter her appearance to other people, casting an ever-present glamour that presents herself as a physically able, attractive young woman...

All the research I can find, and quotes from “The Last Wish,” suggest to me that her physical deformities (hunch back, tendon damage from *spoilers*, injuries aggravated by childhood beatings) were fixed by Tissaia De Vries when Yennefer was just starting out at Aretuza in a (rather painful) magic ceremony/ritual.

It’s

I am also not familiar with the property, but I thought it looked super interesting! These days I’m pretty excited by a fantasy realm I know absolutely nothing about, though.

Same here. Never read the books or played the games, so I’m going in blind too.

*shrug* I think the game has been great so far. A lot slower paced than I anticipated, but once I got into the flow of it I like how it’s set up.

Isnt it safe to say that ubisoft, one of the largest devs in the world with thousands of people working on their games, arent doing this to save a buck? I really cant fathom how this is exploitative, especiallty when the modding community has existed as long as games have. Obviously its a promotional ploy, but I think

Worldwide manhunt for- a comic book pirate...

Priorities...

Cavill and the others shouldn’t look like video-game Geralt, et al. because this show isn’t based off of the video games, nor is CDPR remotely involved.

I guess the hair looks weird, but overall I’m liking it. Extra so that everything seems to be pointing us towards the conclusion it’s a re-telling of the books.

According to the Reddit thread for this, and the full video, he was trying to call an official over, but there wasn’t one overlooking the match. That’s why he stood up at that moment.

A golf cart is mostly a Tesla, right? It uses batteries using the same basic architecture of deep cycle lithium batteries...

You’re just now uneasy about that opening cut scene gun part? Wasn’t that clip out ages ago? Isn’t the whole point of the game to be based in a quasi-realistic world to our own? Did you not play the first one? I feel like this “article” was a poor attempt of trying to this game is secretly funded by the NRA because

Anthem. Hard mode. Tried Grandmaster 1 and got mauled. :/

I’m with you. Never fell off a game so hard. I'm much less enamored with it than most.

I’ve tried to get into Breath of the Wild. But it just wont click for me. I restart the game, get about 10 hours in then give up due to boredom. I want to like it, I really do. But I guess the portability of the Switch keeps me leaning towards pick up and play games instead.

I got pretty burned out on D2 when Forsaken dropped and increasing my light level became too much of a grind. Might have to check this out to see what the special catch-up bounties are like, though.
