They also have different wheels entirely. It’s definitely a Crosstrek.

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet (since Kinja doesn’t let you figure stuff like that out), but that’s clearly a Crosstrek, not an Impreza. I expect better from you, Jalopnik.

Seems strange that Google wouldn't just roll weather into their other, better, news app and kill off this one. Why do they need two different news apps?

I had this problem once when I flew into Boston and didn't realize I was going to have to drive through a labyrinthine network of tunnels on my way out... A "real" GPS when it loses your location keeps you moving at a proper pace so you know what you have to do if you, for example, encounter an exit inside the tunnel

Unless something has changed that I'm not aware of, Google Maps still requires an active internet connection to begin a navigation session, regardless of whether or not you have the maps downloaded ahead of time.

It's metro, so no Windows 7

I imagine however light VLC is, there may be some overhead involved with running inside the desktop mode. That's my guess for what could cause the large gap.

Can you cite this? And where does one find the speed a road is surveyed for?

Yea that's how it is in NY too... I don't know what I was thinking earlier. It's been a long day I guess.

Seems like this pop-up window could be about a third of the size

I figured that was the case everywhere. It's allowed in New York as well.

$7... I have them in a couple different colors too

It sounds like you are the one who doesn't understand what violence means

"...can practice using guns to shoot things"

what thekidfromyesterday said

It doesn't use the speed limit data for anything in Map Maker. I was just saying that since it is a field in Map Maker (where all of the Google Maps mapping information is edited), then it must be data that they collect... which means having speed limits displayed in the app should not be a big leap.

seems like it
