I rooted my girlfriend's Incredible but that was only because
Yup. I see that. I wonder if that will still be the case with Sense 4.0 devices or if it's just like that in Sense 3.6 as one of the areas where they tried to not make the changes too drastic so as not to confuse the more "fragile" users. My guess would be the former... if there's one thing Sense has taught us about…

My only beef with ReadItLater was the fact that the free Android app was worthless. Those concerns were immediately alleviated when the Pro version was offered as part of google's "shit ton of 10 cent apps" sale. I snatched that one up, pronto.
Yup, I listen to all sorts of music, podcasts, streaming radio, pandora, etc. on my phone and it sounds fine to me.
Currently I'm using "Abduction ICS" by Hanger84, although I must say the most recent version (2.0.1) was a dud. I'm using 2.0a9 instead. It is hardware accelerated, so it does have some battery issues, but I've found that overall, it's more stable than the non-HWA versions. Although if you want to try those, I believe…
Well that's stupid. There has to be some sort of way they actually validate the claims, otherwise nobody (business included) would ever accept credit cards. People would just be essentially stealing property left and right.
In ICS, the time doesn't show up in the notification bar when you're on the lockscreen for that very reason.
Well scouts are f-ing weird then. lol
Sure, 3ish years may be a bit better than most, but if you're requiring 8 re-installations in 6 months you must be doing something seriously seriously SERIOUSLY wrong. That is just way too much.

According to lifehacker's article on the subject [lifehacker.com], only the cbs games are really free (through the cbs website). The ncaa website costs $4, and then gives Android and iOS access as a bonus. It's essentially $4 once to be able to watch on all platforms (unless you do the free coke promotion, which I…
Their security is up to industry standards and all that, but I'm sure your regular Joe on the street may not be inclined to take your word for it. It generally assuages peoples concerns some when you tell them that they can choose to be emailed a receipt that will have your contact information, a map with the gps…
Yes, that article you linked to points out the difference in the two scenarios. For traditional credit card transactions, the CC compaines charge a flat rate on top of the percentage. That is the reason why some business want a minimum purchase requirement. In that case, it makes sense mathematically. They could have…
The Incredible can "handle" ICS but there are plenty of reasons why one might want to downgrade to cyanogenmod. The biggest reasons are battery life, speed, stability, and Flash.
But you're assuming that they "probably have enough cash" to cover the purchase. If you lose out on even 1 small sale because somebody doesn't have cash, you completely negate any miniscule savings you may have gotten by applying an arbitrary threshold.
I don't get what you mean. Shaking hands isn't done with the left hand.
I certainly don't know all there is to know about how credit card companies process disputes, but my guess is they would be denied when the CC company sees they signed for it.
