I don’t see the harm in assuming the worst about everyone.  That doesn’t mean you can’t interact with people, but that you should always be aware of what they’re capable of.

There’s also the fact that money is pretty much useless in this game and is only really used when you have to pay for dumb things you did in pursuit of said useless money.  Disappointing.
