Thats what the fuss is about. Its a couple hours of a walking simulator where they remove all the game mechanics and make you fetch keycards. Its not fun or engaging or exciting, its just a long slog of menial tasks.

Narrative elements like that don’t work so well in video games because they’re often not fun. The primary point behind a video game is it needs to be fun and engaging and entertaining. Stripping away the fun and entertainment strips away what makes people want to play it

I always see people throw around the whole rose colored glasses argument, but what you don’t understand is that there are a ton of people, a TON who actually, truly prefer it the way it was.
