They said they wanted to bring safety improvements to those WITHOUT CarPlay also, so now, there will be a setting, which the user can decide to turn on or off, which will use the Bluetooth status and GPS to lock your phone down and do the auto respond, _if_ you want to.

No, that’s not “half assing” it. I was doing just that the other night. It was chilly and I was doing over 70. Having the windows up and the heat on made the difference between being comfortable and being cold.

I have no shame putting my top down. And as fast as it goes down I can usually do it at most stop lights. You do get looks though like “ This guy thinks hes cool and shit”.

Cuts down on noise a LOT at high speeds.

Perfectly acceptable, it reduces wind noise and makes highway driving much nicer. Winter cruising too.
