For me it’s sitting in my car with the windows open and hearing an awful mechanical noise and then wondering if it’s my car or not and then it turns out it was the next car over and then they drive away taking that nightmarish noise with them phew it wasn’t me.

And these guys aren’t some grunts, too. They have college degrees and offices. I think that, given the right tools and supplies, they can finish all of David Tracy’s projects in 5 days, and still have two more days to spare to fix up the broken cars every Jalopnik staffer has.

I don’t see why it’s any different than if he had physically tried flashing an epileptic with a strobe light. Deliberately triggering a seizure seems to be the key issue.

I know someone will probably do it already by the time I post this but here goes anyway...

Dude is a phenomenal filmmaker, as a producer and actor. No one has ever accused him of dialing in a performance. And, from all the stories you hear about set folks too, he’s reportedly a very kind and friendly guy to all on set too.

For all the shit Tom Cruise gets, you can’t knock him for his commitment and not cutting corners.

Relief.

I’d prefer he comment on why he made a Tumblr post and a video explaining how he realizes that these jokes weren’t landing and then went right back to make the exact same jokes—but I’d accept a comment on being called a petulant doofus too.

Like maaaaybe think about these kinda things and approach them a bit more cautiously in future Marvel. Especially during a time when actual real life Nazis and anti-semitism are on the rise in the world.

I’m still of the opinion that is entirely too much to ask of the front wheels.
