I’m usually an Android fan, but I’ve got to go with Apple on this. If you enable a security feature, some bloke with a soldering iron should not be able to bypass it. Besides, you’re not forced to enable the fingerprint security.

This is why I always take my Apple stuff to the Genius bar. Apple repairs are not that much more expensive and you are paying for repairs by people who know what they are doing.
