Further proof that sportsmanship isn’t dead yet.

Why do they cover the logo on the steering wheel, but have a license plate that says BMW M8 on it?

    STOP GIVING THEM IDEAS

Please, for the love of everything good and holy, don’t make a Gran Coupe version of the 8er. PLEASE...

Jesus, you can see his fingers almost brushing the pavement in that screen cap...

    Unoriginal, but obligatory.

    *slow clap*

Oh heck yeah. Following the CRAP out of this thread.

Half million dollar track supercar... people make it do pushups.

Six months after it comes out, they will debut a Grand Coupe model which will outsell the Coupe, getting it cancelled 1 year later.

Well, it’s slower than the hardtop on my Miata... and I get nervous putting THAT top up at a stoplight.

Hey, I’ll never knock a minivan. Learned to drive in one, and had a Town & Country haul all my stuff to college, and then haul it all back 4 years later, never once removing the middle seats. Just the rear ones.

Oh no! Someone in Egypt lost a balloon.

But why isn’t the Ute doing the towing ALSO doing a burnout?!

Absolutely... understeer is TERRIFYING and the worst thing I could do to my car on an autocross course is hit a cone. I’d never bomb back roads at 3x the speed limit. I know my limits.

I /could/ be a jerk and say that my 2.5i would understeer at less-than-legal speeds during an autocross (we had a small course, but still trying to pitch that sucker into a sharp corner at 25mph often resulted in wondrous understeer), haha, but your point is valid :)

Not entirely. Subarus love to understeer from the factory; I used to autocross my ‘08 2.5i. And it looks very much like he either caught air under the front wheels, or he understeered, and that caused him to go into a ditch.

It is; I looked it up because I was curious myself:

Looking at the speedo, and a picture of the instrument cluster on Google, it looks like he was doing between 80-1oomph just before (and basically as he) lost control. Reckless, stupid, insane driving on public roads, crossing a double-yellow... I hope insurance denies his claim.

    For what it is worth.
