Will we ever see pics of an Asian country aside from Japan? Japan is great and all but why not switch it up a bit? Maybe Seoul? Hong Kong? Teipei? There is more to Asian culture than just Japan.

If it’s about Asian culture then why not show other parts of Asia? Parts of Korea, Vietnam,Cambodia, China etc. are every bit as beautiful as the islands of Japan. I love Japan as much as the next guy but it seems like Kotaku is only concerned with Japanese culture, not Asian culture

I agree.....they should show more pictures from around the world, not just pics from Japan. I understand the love affair that gamers have with Japan (video game culture as we know it did begin there after), but I think Korea, Thiland, China and other (more beautiful?) parts of Asia deserved to be recognized as well. FF8 is still the most underrated of the bunch, IMO. Used to be FF6 but now it seems it is by far the most discussed in the series (on kotaku at least). Some of my favs:
