Without headstones, how do they make sure they don’t mistakenly dig up some old bones when they go to bury a new body? I would have thought the logistics of that would be included in a basic primer about the concept.

Thanks for the response, that makes sense. The battery in my mbp is good enough for nearly all day use so I don’t typically carry a charger in my bag but I do have the Anker cube charger with the USB ports, so if they ever get the USB-C charging rates up for those I would probably buy one as a multi-purpose extension…

Dude can afford a monkey but not a mirror.
Am I misunderstanding something or do virtually none of these USB-C chargers offer enough power for the 15" Touch Bar MBP (85w I think?)?

Sorry I don’t think offering compensation likely to induce false responses makes him a good dude.

Do keep up with the thread my friend. Nowhere have I said his talent has any bearing on the pending charges.
We’re starting to see more talk about “post capitalism” in relation to labor, but what about manufacturing companies? Seems like there is a place for mature companies that make quality products that people use, even as the quarterly stock-market-driven “innovation” happens at a slower pace.
I’m not sold on HomePod yet but with Siri functionality (and Hey Siri) I have a feeling Apple will keep up on the smart home stuff.
Seems like an easy* reform would be to allow people to file bankruptcy on for-profit school loans. If schools want to be for-profit, they should take the full risk of the market along with it.
a paint-by-the-numbers game
Fair observations though I would still argue he’s an extremely talented actor. Not the most versatile, but still very talented imo.
Eh, I disagree. I think sometimes versatility gets confused for talent. He doesn’t have to be a total chameleon capable of any role in order to be exceptionally good at some roles.
It actually kind of says a lot, actually. He’s a really talented actor imo, but something was clearly keeping him from breakthrough smash success. Open secret kind of thing.
And you’re getting BB’s garbage private label line for double what an Anker cable would cost on Amazon.
Counterpoint: Best Buy is terrible. At least Amazon offers choice. I’ll take an Anker lightning cable over whatever private label RocketFish junk Best Buy is selling every day of the week and twice on sunday.
Also worth noting (though not within the scope of this article) that Amazon became Amazon for a lot of us because of the reliable consumer reviews. It used to be the place to get basically a realtime Consumer Reports for most goods.
As stated in another branch of this thread, I really don’t get the idea of luring bad actors to your porch with an obvious and unobscured Apple product and then acting circumspect about bad actors on your porch.
So just...don’t put it on your porch?
He’s literally a rocket scientist with apparently 7 years experience on Youtube. I’m skeptical that he couldn’t have foreseen the perverse incentive.
