The battery in my mbp is good enough for nearly all day use so I don’t typically carry a charger in my bag but I do have the Anker cube charger with the USB ports, so if they ever get the USB-C charging rates up for those I would probably buy one as a multi-purpose extension…

Eh, I disagree. I think sometimes versatility gets confused for talent. He doesn’t have to be a total chameleon capable of any role in order to be exceptionally good at some roles.

Counterpoint: Best Buy is terrible. At least Amazon offers choice. I’ll take an Anker lightning cable over whatever private label RocketFish junk Best Buy is selling every day of the week and twice on sunday.

Also worth noting (though not within the scope of this article) that Amazon became Amazon for a lot of us because of the reliable consumer reviews. It used to be the place to get basically a realtime Consumer Reports for most goods.
