The "vehicle" is the truck and trailer combined. Your example would be a 40' commercial vehicle, and would probably be banned.

I live in a major city in the Southwest with lots of truck traffic, and virtually none of the traffic problems I encounter are related to trucks. It's mostly the old standbys: people running late weaving in and out of traffic, people putting on makeup/texting/eating, and people who are so scared of the first two…
Rail is great for a big portion of goods transport, but trucks will always be better for the "last mile."
Exactly. I would more seriously consider a 300 if they weren't so overpriced. Even used examples hold their values well, which is great for owners but basically makes it a non-starter for me because buying a used Chrysler for 5 figures is just simply not compelling.
And it's still a Chrysler. It's the kind of car that is probably well loved by its owners (and probably for good reason), but a bit polarizing to the rest of us. I don't know any Chrysler owners under the age of 50, for whatever that's worth.
I lean toward buying American but for $30k (assuming a trim level higher than base model but with the incentives you mention) I'm not sure I'm willing to take a chance on a Chrysler. I'm sure the majority are great cars, but it's just a lot of money for what is—like you first said—sort of an American Camry equivalent.…
This photo does make the 300 look good, but Camry's start at $22k, the 300 starts at $31k, and it's a Chrysler. I want to like the 300 but it's mediocre and overpriced.
What are Toyota and GM doing to compete with Ford's Transit and Transit Connect vans? Toyota and GM both make good products too, but when you look at Ford's truck performance (F-150 especially) alongside the new vans, it's hard to argue Ford is behind at all.
Well, aren't you a judgey little thing.
Sure, that's the point of hyperbole.
Hopefully someday you'll get the opportunity to see your loved ones dead bodies on TMZ's Facebook page, and then perhaps you'll understand.
+1 for the spine-filled statement from the police.
If the US is fucked up, it's your generation's fault.
Be careful what you wish for.
We should expect more from anyone who claims to share our species.
Sorry, cost isn't a fatal flaw. Space shuttles are expensive, SR-71s were expensive, U-2s were expensive—yet each of those perform a specific and highly complex task, and do it very well. None of those craft came without struggle, the difference is that the struggle wasn't nearly as public.
I don't accept your premise, which I take to be that the F-35 is fatally flawed.
What are Canada's needs, exactly? What critical long range missions is Canada flying? With the exception of coalition type situations where the US guilts Canada into doing something, when was the last time Canada used their weapon loadout in a non-training scenario?
Oh yah, the anonymous, unverified Skype call. The entire case hinges on it.
The first plea deal offered was 5 days in jail and he refused it, that makes him the most ridiculous.
