Saying that Native Americans take anything for granted seems like one of the most outrageously offensive things you could possibly let pass through your lips.

This is outrageous. And yet, so typical. He would NEVER say that to a white man. I don’t think he would say it to me, a respectable-looking white woman. And she asked a legitimate question. GOD WHAT A TOOL.

We need a special prosecutor, like yesterday. No way the guy who is going to replace Comey will be independent in the Russia investigation.

He absolutely deserved to be fired for what he did to Clinton. But let’s not kid ourselves that he was fired for that reason. He was fired because Trump is afraid that Comey is on to something. This is beyond Watergate levels of corruption. We need a special independent prosecutor to oversee that investigation.

I have no love for Comey but trump firing the head of the FBI while being investigated by the FBI is very troubling. I believe the last president who did this was Nixon so...

Agree wholeheartedly. Also, we need to steal this language; next time the GOP tries to pass an anti-abortion TRAP law and has nothing but men standing around at the bill signing, Planned Parenthood needs to come back and complain about how “the regulated community” (women) is not allowed to be part of the process.

I come from a family that is riddled with people who threaten to/succeed in killing themselves on a regular basis. I don’t have any personal experience with suicidal depression, so take this for what it’s worth, but I thought the fact that the 13 reasons were all other people and not “and finally, as #13, I have a

“Hannah’s story is still very much not finished”
Also not finished: the stories of the adolescents in emergency departments since this show coming out who have attempted or have planned out their suicide. Their stories aren’t finished, and then they watched this show, and they spiraled. Did they have other stuff going

Thank you for that last part- I’ve been dealing with this story for a long time now, since it was a very popular book in my class for years. I don’t like that it makes suicide something that a person can do to get back at others, and the whole tapes thing just emphasizes that. I think most read it as a tragedy a la

No, because that is a delightful movie, not a dumb movie.

I watch those, too, but I’m in it for the possibility of a boyish grin from Tom Hiddleston.

I went to go see Kingdom on Heaven with my father because I was so infatuated with Orlando Bloom. I do believe the plot was lost of 14 year old me.

I want to be excited for the next Fantastic Beast but every bit of news about Johnny Depp makes me so damn anxious for that franchise. Why did you do this to us, JK?

Oh the first was great. It was fun, his character was hilarious, it was a well done movie in general. Kinda campy, but that fit when you’re you know, making a movie out of a cheesy theme park attraction.

Yeah, he was great. The room was fucking tough though. Especially when he went after press outlets and specific people.

Was Pence there, or were there too many non-wife women showing ankle for him to participate?

The reason no one mentions the dead man’s crimes is that they are irrelevant to the way he was treated while in custody.

Right it makes it seem like this was directly the result of shitty people. The reality is so much more complex than that.

I mean, what’s irresponsible (and what people are mad about) is less the bare fact that you depicted the act of suicide, and more that you depicted the act of suicide as a glamorous, romanticized event and portrayed it as effective revenge against the people “at fault” for her death.
