$33k and they couldn’t bother replacing that shit-can shift knob.

This. You’re basically in 6.4 Charger/Challenger territory.
The GT86 has poor sales numbers because fucking Toyobaru overpriced it like hell - at it’s price range, you can get the Mustang V6, Mustang Ecoboost, GTI, WRX, the ST brothers, the Miata, Genesis Coupe, and I’ll even throw in the newer 2016 Camaro for having lost some weight.
The ONLY thing the GT86 has over any of…
I’m jealous. There’s no VE Maxima near me at all for sale.
Really? Current near $24k?
I looked back at my window sticker for my 2015 SR (no additional packages), and rounded up to around $20.5k.
Toyobaru overpriced them. At the $24k starting, there are MANY other cars that come close to their handling prowess, but with more power or functionality.
Case-in-point: the V6 Mustang
While the Z and GTR are quality (and definitely fun) enthusiast cars, they are DEFINITELY old. The Z’s been out since 2009 with no major update while the GTR’s starting price (the reason it was so popular - budget supercar with Nissan reliability) has continually gone up.
Doesn’t help that they cancelled the IDx…
This is the kind of thing I would need if I were to get a P71 if I were to modify it. Keep it cop-looking, but way more improved. I was wondering if fake steelies were available anywhere, but apparently nobody has thought of it.
$3,490 is pushing it, as clean as it is.
I’d rather buy one for under a grand with a dead motor and just straight up swap it with the 4G63T (RVR Hyper Sports Gear-R)
