I hope so as well. I feel I was lucky enough not to have any issues with my DS4 controllers with my launch PS4, but 1 of my 3 DS3 controllers definitely had an ong0ing sync issue on the PS3. Even then, it was periodic and was a slight nuisance.

I loved my 360, but my god did it run hot. I had gone through 3 RROD consoles, before settling on the 4th. Unfortunately, the PS3 library started to gain steam at that point and felt I was at risk buying multiplatforms on the 360, so I eventually got rid of it. Just my luck, a couple years later, my PS3 gets the YLOD.
