Abrams: “I’m setting up some mystery boxes. We get to decide what’s in them later.”

My least favorite notion from TRoS is that thousands of non-affiliated ships take the extremely dangerous route to Exegol to help the Resistance fighters when asked by a man, after none (zero, zilch, zip) showed up when a mayday signal was sent out by a woman in TLJ. This may be the most sexist idea in the entire

Why include Lube Man if he doesn’t contribute anything to the plot at all?

His last movie was actually “Bright”.

Sad news.

I don’t see anyone saying we should ban Lovecraft here, but if you’re trying to argue that he wasn’t a racist, you’re either ignorant or disingenuous. His views on race are well known and came up in his works, especially the early ones, very often. Whether those views were common at the time or not, they would have to

Just because the megacorps who own the studios only care about the bottom line doesn’t mean we have to as well.

A thousand percent. It’s clear from the Times interview that he’s thoughtful, introspective. But mostly I just came here to say, yeah, fuck Adam Corolla.

Zero Effect is an amazing movie.  It’s in some ways very against type for Pullman, but he’s also still very endearing in it.

After Hours is a comedy. The King of Comedy is a comedy. The Wolf of Wall Street is largely a comedy—at least as much as something the MCU bills as one of the funnier ones, like Ant-Man or whatever.

Yeah, maybe the guy who made Goodfellas, The Age of Innocence, Silence, The Wolf of Wall Street, The Last Temptation of Christ, After Hours, Raging Bull, and Hugo needs work on his range.

No problem for you then, seeing that you don’t have a brain.

Maybe he was just being a shitty human being as research for a book he's writing.

If you think about what we owe to each other, then it’s only ethical that you allow that person to eat your dick.

lol you WISH I got paid to write this

The West Wing: a good show ruined by the awful awful discourse that surrounds it.

I came to that film because Cara Buno had been in Kicking and Screaming (‘96) and Next Stop Wonderland.. and yeah it’s plot is a bit mechanical, but it captures enough of what it was like to be in your 20s, clothes, hairstyles, how people tried to talk, etc...  I watched it recently and enjoyed it well enough... side

LOL.

Thankfully, I’ve already got my EGOT, for El Pollo Loco, Golden Corral, Original Tommy’s and Tastee-Freez.
