They actually did that the last time Xbox Live subscription costs went up. They gave a promo period where you could renew at the old price and cancelling wasn’t cancelling the auto-renew, it was cancelling the deal so I ended up getting charged for another year at the higher rate. T.T

One tip on the final story dungeons and cutscene skipping. You can usually get people via the Party Finder to do a no cutscene skip run, it takes about 30 min longer, but they tend to fill up with story minded players pretty quickly (during prime time or weekend evenings)

100 Crucible Wins seems like it is actually 100 Crucible kills. I ended up getting all 100 in a couple days and didn’t play more than 30 matches

You can get through the main story in 50-60 hours, most of which is single player, the rest requiring a group, but a really good dungeon matching service. Even if you don’t subscribe, playing it for a month for <$20 is well worth it for the story.

Don't try to edge grab. That's not a thing in this game.

I really miss the gamecube controller for this. Big A button for smashes, down to the B button for specials, and then up to either X or Y for jump. I also really don't like using the L button for grab/throw, I really want to hit R for all of that.

That glitch, the final level of the ancient cave, and the config menu glitches were all fixed on the EU version, which was completely done in English. If you are ROM hunting, grab that version to see those areas how they were programmed.

That puzzle had me stuck for days before I had to return the rental. The next time I rented the game, I played through to that puzzle again and noticed the R button hint in the tutorial. Aside from comfort, which the WiiU Pro Controller doesn't deliver on, is the price. $30 per controller vs $60 controller, plus being able to use controllers you have and already used for SSBM and SSBB is a really good deal.
